I ride down hill and XC, bought the 20 Enduro Comp 6 months ago and have only been back to the shop for a tire repair. I Ride weekly at the least putting in an average of 10 to 12 miles per ride. The shifting and braking a solid I have read where others have upgraded and I see no reason to do so! The shifting is crisp and has not faltered a bit. The breaking was good enough to keep me under control at speeds up to 30 mph downhill. Out with friends yesterday and we switch up bikes one rides a Giant trance 650b, the other a 29er hardtail (so he barely counts..lol). But on X trails neither bike felt as effortless or as in control as the Enduro, Plan on buying another for my son. If the bike needs anything mine did not come with a dropper post, that is on my list of things to get.
This thing is an absolute mountain crusher. It's allowed me to destroy my old DH times while still allowing me to compete with my cross-country and uphill times. I really can't say enough about it. The gnarlier the trail the better for me and this beast can take the beating. Love it!
